My article today is a followup to my earlier article about the horrific fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban because of decisions made by President Joe Biden.
As a direct consequence of Biden’s actions 13 valiant members of Ameria’s armed forces dies and others were wounded. Americans are now stranded in Afghanistan and and arsenal of some of America’s best military hardware are in the hands of the Taliban and, presumably terrorists.
Today we examine how his catastrophic immigration policies largely parallel his decisions to essentially surrender to the Taliban in Afghanistan and how this impacts national security and public safety- putting innocent lives- particularly AMERICAN lives in danger.
Spoiler alert: I have testified before numerous congressional hearings in the House and Senate- particularly after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 when our political leaders, from both political parties sought to prevent future attacks. My commentary today includes a significant excerpt from a Democrat member of Congress- back in 2005, who aggressively chastised then-President George W. Bush for not hiring as many ICE agents, Border Patrol agents and for not acquiring adequate detention beds for illegal aliens who were arrested along the U.S./Mexican border.
You may well be shocked out how that Democrat, back then, could so clearly articulate the nexus between immigration failures and the threat of terror attacks.
It is abundantly clear that our political leaders understand the clear and present dangers posed by failures to secure our nation’s borders and effectively but fairly enforce our nation’s immigration laws.
How then can Mr. Biden ignore all of these facts and disregard the dangers to which he is now exposing our nation and our fellow Americans?
The policies of the Biden administration are undermining national security, public safety, public health and the jobs and wages of Americans even as we approach the 20th anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
I provided testimony to the 9/11 Commission and I have testified before numerous hearings conducted by various committees and subcommittees in the House and Senate. I now feel as though I wasted my time. The Biden administration’s dangerous policies run in direct opposition to the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
I hope my commentary provides you with a bit of “food for thought.”
Facts are indeed, “stubborn things!”
Please take the time to read my commentary in its entirety and check out the links to other articles and materials I included in my article.
Ignorance is not bliss. Knowledge is power, so my article provides some cold hard facts for you to consider and hopefully share with others.
If you like my article I ask that you make a point of posting it on FaceBook and other social media and forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can. It is important to dispel the lies and nonsense about the true nature and significance of effective immigration law enforcement in this particularly perilous era.
Being “Pro-Enforcement” is not “Anti-Immigrant.” Indeed, advocates for immigration anarchy are actually taking an “Anti-Immigrant” position by obfuscating the line that separates lawful immigrants from illegal aliens. To provide a bit of clarity, while we are indeed a “Nation of immigrants” America is not a nation of trespassers. The difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien is comparable to the difference between a houseguest and a burglar.
