I will be joining Gary Sutton and his co-host, Chris Tyler, to continue the discussion of the lunacy of “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.”

As I have noted in the past, if Comprehensive Immigration Reform is enacted, it would create unknown millions of heretofore illegal alien competitors for scarce jobs Americans and lawful immigrants of every race, religion and ethnicity desperately need to support themselves and their families and provide international terrorists and members of transnational criminal organizations from around the world with opportunities to create brand new false identities to enable them to embed themselves in communities across the United States.

The 9/11 Commission Staff Report on Terrorist Travel detailed numerous examples of instances where terrorists not only made use of visa and immigration benefit fraud to enter the United States but to also embed themselves in the United States.

To cite an example, page 47 of the above-noted report contained the following paragraph:

“Once terrorists had entered the United States, their next challenge was to find a way to remain here. Their primary method was immigration fraud. For example, Yousef and Ajaj concocted bogus political asylum stories when they arrived in the United States. Mahmoud Abouhalima, involved in both the World Trade Center and landmarks plots, received temporary residence under the Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAW) program, after falsely claiming that he picked beans in Florida.

“Mohammed Salameh, who rented the truck used in the bombing, overstayed his tourist visa. He then applied for permanent residency under the agricultural workers program, but was rejected.

“Eyad Mahmoud Ismail, who drove the van containing the bomb, took English-language classes at Wichita State University in Kansas on a student visa; after he dropped out, he remained in the United States out of status.”

On June 22, 2007 the Washington Times published my commentary concerning my opposition to Comprehensive Immigration Reform. My article was entitled:

Immigration bill a ‘No Go’

In this commentary I noted that the fatally flawed legislation known as “Comprehension Immigration Reform” should be given a more truthful and descriptive title- I suggested it be renamed the “Terrorist Assistance and Facilitation Act” because it would have required the inept and incompetent division USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) to provide official identity documents to millions of illegal aliens who, in the parlance of the immigration anarchists are “undocumented.” This would provide ample opportunities for terrorists to obtain brand new “clean” identities that they could then use to circumvent various “no fly” and terror watch lists and embed themselves in the United States, traveling freely and legally working in jobs that might have critical infrastructure implications or national security implications!

What I said back then, more than 5 years ago, is even more applicable today!

On February 18, 2013 AIM (Accuracy In Media) posted my commentary about the “Gang of Eight” and their proposal for “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” The title for my commentary was:

On March 20, 2013 I was called upon to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the topic:

On Apri 28, 2013 CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary, “The Immigration Bon Bon Factory.”

In that commentary I addressed the lack of integrity to the process by which applications for various immigration benefits including the conferring of lawful immigrant status and even United States citizenship. Today applications for DACA (Deferred Action- Childhood Arrivals) which parallels the DREAM Act are being processed without even a face-to-face interview providing, thus far, hundreds of thousands of undocumented illegal aliens with official identity documents. Now go back a couple of paragraphs in this e-mail and read what the 9/11 Commission Staff Report had to say about the clear national security implications the way that the terrorists were able to embed themselves in the United States.

On April 16, 2013 AIM (Accuracy In Media) published my article, “Unobtainium” and Border Deception“.

In this article, my focus was the way that the proponents for Comprehensive Immigration Reform had manipulated the discussion to have most folks focus on whether or not the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico is secure. Most certainly that border is anything but secure, but this is only one of many vital components to the immigration system. Just as only one hole in the bottom of a boat is able to cause a boat to sink, each failing of the immigration system has potentially catastrophic implications for America and Americans. Inexplicably with few exceptions, the great majority of our leaders and the media have come to be hypnotized by the issue of border security along the Southwest Border while ignoring a list of other issues that are being entirely ignored!

On May 2, 2013 I was invited to participate in an interview with Megyn Kelly at Fox News. The video of the interview was posted on the Fox News Insider website and given the title:

Immigration Expert: The System Failed in Boston and Keeps on Failing

Please take the time to watch the interview- it runs about 8 minutes. Megyn gave me ample opportunity to provide my views on the nexus between immigration and national security including the Boston bombing case and how Comprehensive Immigration Reform would undermine national security.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!

If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!
