On Friday, September 19th, I was a guest on “America’s Forum” on Newsmax TV hosted by JD Hayworth. Shortly after my interview NewsMax posted a video of my segment with a synopsis of our discussion we. The title of this article was:
The starting point for my interview was an important news report that contained a video clip of an interview that Rep. Jason Chaffetz participated in with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. The title of the report was: “BREAKING: Four Terrorists Captured on US Border on September 10 – Day Before 9-11 (Video).”
In discussing the issue of “Sanctuary Cities” and the impact such policies have on national security I referenced the fact that New York City’s mayor Bill De Blasio had decided to provide illegal aliens with identity documents that, as an added “bonus” would enable illegal aliens to whom those cards are issued to gain entrance into museums and other cultural landmarks in New York City. I had previously written about De Blasio’s preposterous and dangerous program in an article I wrote for CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) that was posted on February 25, 2014:
During my discussion with JD Hayworth I referenced an exchange between Congressman Lou Barletta and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson about whether or not criminals who are known to be criminals in the United States would come forward to participate in an amnesty program. Johnson conceded that they would not. This was covered in a Breitbart News report that was published on September 17, 2014:
These issues all beg the question- “Why on earth would the government of the United States embark on a program of providing aliens who evade our borders and the lawful inspections process that are supposed to prevent the entry of aliens whose presence would be problematic for the United States including international terrorists and transnational criminals?
While the members of Congress who want to provide the appearance of “standing tough” on the issue of immigration law enforcement by taking to the airways on news programs and talking about terrorists running our borders- the great majority of them go on to make statements about how the United States cannot provide lawful status for these aliens as long as the border between the United States and Mexico is not secured.
What they are utterly ignoring- either out of stupidity or by deliberate intentions known only to them, they are willfully ignoring the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission. They fail to acknowledge the fundamental issue- terrorists have undoubtedly managed to already enter the United States. Clearly terrorists who enter the United States do so with the intention of carrying out attacks inside the United States.
Terrorists who enter the United States are, indeed, enemy combatants. Terrorism is defined as a form of “asymmetrical warfare.” Terrorists understand that they cannot mount a frontal assault against the U.S. military. They therefore seek to get behind what is for them the “enemy lines.” What they refer to as the enemy lines we refer to as the borders of the United States.
When soldiers who engage in conventional warfare arrive at the theater of war they don camouflage to blend into their surroundings to help them move about without detection and minimize the likelihood that they will be shot or captured by their enemies. Terrorists don clothing that enables them to blend in and are likely to wear blue jeans and sweatshirts or suits and ties- depending on what their “cover story” is. However, wearing appropriate attire is not enough- they also need to acquire identity documents in false names to enable them to move freely around the United States as they go about their deadly preparations. By acquiring lawful immigration status- often in an assumed identity, they remove the potential that they may be discovered by law enforcement and taken into custody.
This is why “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” are so dangerous for national security. Our national security if further compromised by the failures of the administration to enforce our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States- including aggressively pursuing investigations of immigration fraud. The focus of all the majority of our political leaders and supposed journalists who ignore the many ways that aliens can enter the United States in addition to running the U.S./Mexican border and the issue of not pursuing violations of the immigration laws committed by aliens in the United States including the filing of fraud-laden applications for immigration benefits, prompted me to write an article for FrontPage Magazine that was published on July 7, 2014.

The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized. In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense. They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform,

CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary that asks the questions all Americans need to ask their political “representatives.” My commentary is aptly titled: “How? Why?”
In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:
“We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”
Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.
The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation. That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.
Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers. In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”
Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
