Hi Gang:

As I do on every Friday, I will be hosting my show, “The Michael Cutler Hour” today from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Today I will be joined by Julie Poner, an American woman who married an alien from the Czech Republic and found herself on the receiving end of allegations of spousal abuse when she decided she wanted out of her marriage and her husband wanted to make certain that he received his green card. She testified before a hearing conducted by the Senate Judiciary Committee on July 13, 2011.

She became a victim of an innocuous sounding law known as the Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA).

This is yet another example of how immigration laws that are supposed to protect our citizens but we are not being protected.
