Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and then ask that those to whom you send this pass it along to their contacts- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth” and would love your help!
First, I plan to talk about the just-released Tea Party Patriots excellent hard hitting documentary, “The Border States of America.” The subtitle of this film makes the importance and relevance of the immigration crisis clear to all Americans: “Every State is Now a Border State.”
Next I plan to discuss my latest article for FrontPage Magazine published by the David Horowitz Freedom Center:
Immigration Politics: Where Facts and Commonsense Are Ignored
The New York City Council by a huge margin, has voted to kick ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents out of Rikers Ilsand, I major prison in New York and CBS said that this was done to “Protect Jailed Immigrants From the Feds.” In my article I noted that the phrase, “To Proet and Serve” has become the motto describing the mission of many police departments across the United States. The obvious question is “Who is being protected and who is being served?” Also- Chuck Schumer announced that he was proposing that those who trespass on critical buildings and infrastructure are not being deterred from their dangerous transgressions because the penalties are not great enough to provide a true deterrence so he was proposing that the penalty for trespassing should carry a five year maximum rather than the one year it now carries. Imagine that! Chuck is suggesting that trespassing may have security implications and the solution to trespassing is to increase the penalties and aggressively enforce the laws! Yet when unknown millions of illegal aliens trespass on America he wants to provide them with a pathway to United States citizenship because, in his judgement, they earned it! In my article I described Chuck’s statement as representing a lack of “mouth / ear” coordination!
Finally, although political conservatives often complain about civil servants and unions- especially unions that represent our civil servants, it is important to remember that our civil servants are fellow Americans and fully understand the importance of the work that they do. The adjudications officers at USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) are charged with making decisions about the granting or denying of immigration benefits to aliens. These beleaguered employees of that division of the DHS know full well that there are serious national security implications to the system by which aliens are granted lawful status and the official identity documents that are issued as an integral part of that process. Those civil servants and the union that represents them is indeed, trying to do what is in America’s best interests. It is the union that is able to sound the alarm about how the impending massive amnesty program Obama has stated he will implement by executive caveat after the elections would do grave harm to national security.
Here is the link to the press release issued by that union’s president- please make certain to read this:
“Once terrorists had entered the United States, their next challenge was to find a way to remain here. Their primary method was immigration fraud. For example, Yousef and Ajaj concocted bogus political asylum stories when they arrived in the United States. Mahmoud Abouhalima, involved in both the World Trade Center and landmarks plots, received temporary residence under the Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAW) program, after falsely claiming that he picked beans in Florida.”
It is significant to note that the Seasonal Agricultural Program, also known as the Special Agricultural Program (SAW) were major components of the 1986 Amnesty at that New York’s then Congressman Chuck Schumer was one of that program’s major architects even though there were absolutely no farms in his congressional district when he concocted it.
This paragraph is found on page 98 of the report, under the title “Immigration Benefits:”
“Terrorists in the 1990s, as well as the September 11 hijackers, needed to find a way to stay in or embed themselves in the United States if their operational plans were to come to fruition. As already discussed, this could be accomplished legally by marrying an American citizen, achieving temporary worker status, or applying for asylum after entering. In many cases, the act of filing for an immigration benefit sufficed to permit the alien to remain in the country until the petition was adjudicated. Terrorists were free to conduct surveillance, coordinate operations, obtain and receive funding, go to school and learn English, make contacts in the United States, acquire necessary materials, and execute an attack.”
“The Social Contract” published my article in its Summer, 2013 edition, on how fraud in the political asylum program currently enables our enemies to see in America’s compassion, weakness. The title of my article was:
On November 30, 2013 CAPS posted my commentary:
My article was predicated on a hard-hitting report posted by ABC News on November 20, 2013:
“Exclusive: US May Have Let ‘Dozens’ of Terrorists Into Country As Refugees”
The starting point for any discussion about immigration must be the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
The 9/11 Commission Report was released more than a decade ago.
Yet there are precious few members of Congress in either the House of Representatives or the United States Senate from either party willing to even mention the fact that there was a 9/11 Commission- when the topic of immigration is raised!
On Wednesday, September 24, 2014 I was interviewed by Graham Ledger for his One America News Network program, “The Daily Ledger.” The focus of our discussion was the way that “Sanctuary Cities” imperil national security and public safety:
I hope you will be listening.
On June 13, 2013 I was interviewed by Neil Cavuto on the topic:
The interview runs about 4 minutes and is worth watching.
The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized. In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense. They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform,
In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:
“We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”
Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.
The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation. That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.
Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers. In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”
Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
Lead, follow or get out of the way!
